Privacy

Your audio never leaves your device.

Audio Utils runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload endpoint and no server-side audio pipeline.

How it works

Files you drop into a converter, analyzer, or DSP tool are decoded by the Web Audio API and processed by FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly — both running on your machine, in this browser tab. We have no upload endpoint, so we couldn't see your audio if we wanted to.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and tool events: which tool was opened, when a run started and finished, how long it took. The events carry the tool slug, kind, file size in bytes, and processing duration in milliseconds — no audio content, no filenames. The full event taxonomy is documented in docs/analytics-events.md in the project repository.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets its own (_ga, _ga_*) for session identification. Standard tracking-protection settings can block these without breaking the site.

Third parties

Google Analytics is the only third party that sees anything from this site, and what it sees is only the anonymous events above. Audio is never sent to any third party.

Data retention

We have no database. There is nothing to retain.
